It seems that singer Adele has managed to remain on top. The star dominates the charts in the United Kingdom, but not only.

Actually, Adele just equaled Madonna’s performance, as she managed to have a similar result with Madonna’s successful hits record, The Immaculate Collection, dating back in 1990. The nine weeks that Adele remained on top represent more than any other solo female artist has managed to do so far. And this year, Adele also became the “first living artist since the Beatles to have two top five hits in the UK single and album charts simultaneously.” However, Adele is not only successful in the United Kingdom, but the star’s popularity continues to grow in the US also.
