Apple Event September 2010
At YBCA Theater, in San Francisco, California, right now is held the Apple Event where Steve Jobs has a lot of surprises for us. I take the opportunity to announce you that in the next hours will provide a coverage of this event, which is going to be a huge one, where the news will not be connected only to a single product or service, but as the rumours says to many.
The audience expects that the new iPod Touch 4G will be presented and probably some news about Apple TV revival will be released. The show has began, the same outfit for Mr Steve Jobs.
He began with an update for Apple Retail. Apple opened three more Apple stores. One in Paris, this is the second in Paris, the first was near the Louvre, the second is near the Opera House. They spent 18 months restoring it. The second store is in China, in Shanghai to be precise. And the third is in London, in Covent Garden. The store in London was the store with number 300.They will open a store in Spain soon. In total, Apple has stores in 10 countries. Spain will be the eleventh country.
The second news of this morning was related to iOS, which is considered a revolution in touch and apps. 120 million of devices use iOS, which is pretty amazing in the conditions in which Microsoft Windows is still the main operating system used by computing users.
In terms of applications, there are 25000 apps created only for iPads. The world of application has been created by Apple and the computers and the tablets today will change the world with the use of the new games created for mobile devices. I am talking about the Game Center, a new feature which was created for the new operating system iOS 4.1.

iPod Shuffle is going to be available for 49 dollars and will have 5 colours. The next thing presented by Mr Steve Jobs at this event was the iPod Nano. The navigation on it is very similar to the one on your iPod and iPhone, so it is going to be easy for those who already have these devices. If you clip on the device on upside down, you can rotate the screen to orient it in the right way.
The price of these devices is going to be 149 dollars for 8 GB and 179 dollars for 16 GB. Steve Jobs presented the fact that iPod Touch beated Nintendo and also Sony consoles. This has been amazing, according to Steve Jobs. Yes, Steve, you’re right.
1.5 million games have been downloaded to the iPod Touch. In the USA, the iPod has a market share of more than 50%. The iPod Touch uses the Retina Display technology, the Face Time technology, as the one used on the iPhone4, 4 LED backlit, 326 ppi, which is 4X pixels than before.
