The world famous Cirque du Soleil, founded in Montreal, Canada, was finally fined based on the death of its acrobat, Oleksandr Zhurov, that occurred in October 2009. Quebec’s occupational health and safety board issued two fines that had a total worth of $1915. An autopsy revealed that the bassist from heavy metal band Slipknot, Paul Gray, died because of an accidental overdose on morphine and fentanyl. The musician was discovered dead in his hotel room in Iowa. Paul Gray was also known as nr. 2 or ‘the pig’. He died at age 38.

Picasso’s Portrait of Angel Fernandez de Soto depicts a young Spanish artist sitting in a bar with a glass of absinthe. De Soto, the young man in the painting was Picasso friend, usually described as passionate about drinking and partying. The two men met in 1899.
