If we were to think about the fact that many horticulturists consider it to be the earth’s first fruit, it is no wonder it has been endowed with so many qualities and positive effects.
As most records mention, the discovery of bananas goes back to Alexander the Great‘s conquest of India. Ever since, India has been by far the largest world producer of bananas, placing a high value and importance on these fruits.
India considers the flower from the banana tree to be sacred, thus using it in wedding ceremonies as they believe they are to be considered symbols of good luck.
