Beckham excludes England’s managing
Former England’s captain David Beckham declared he won’t manage the national football team, not even in the future as plenty think he’ll do it though at a certain moment. The player excluded this hypothesis the more he has to continue his player career. Beckham suffers at the moment of Achilles injury since weeks ago which forced him give up England’s job at the World Cup tournament in South Africa where he went finally in order to encourage his team mates. Anyhow, concerning his future as a coach of England, the midfielder declared: “I must admit it’s something I’ve never been interested in. It’s not a passion of mine to be a manager of a football team.” Referring to Clapello’s performance at the World Cup, Beckham said the coach is not guily, this one doing the best he could do: „He (Capello) did everything that he could have done. He prepared us right. He worked the players to the right amount and he set everything up for the players, but obviously the players know it was disappointing.”
„We didn’t perform and as players you know that – you know when you don’t perform, you know when you don’t play well. The manager can do so much and then it’s down to the players. The players go on to the pitch and they know if they don’t perform they don’t win games. The players are honest about that but it’s not about individuals, it’s not about how individuals play – it’s about how we played as a team. It’s a cliche but you win as a team and you lose as a team.”

“You have to take the good days and enjoy those, and the bad days you learn from and the team will do that because we’ve got a lot of young players.” England provided quite a poor performance during the South African tournament, reaching only the round of 8 where Capello’s side was defeated with a humiliating 4-1 score by the Germans and left home earlier than expected. David Beckham played 115 times for the national football team and scored 17 goals since 1996.
