Czech Tomas Berdych almost smashed Serbian Djokovic in this afternoon’s semi final at Wimbledon, the imposing 12th seeded beating Novak in three straight sets, 6-3, 7-6, 6-3 to reach his first final at the English tournament. The Czech player did once again wonderful job after he just eliminated Federer in the previous quarter final match, beating him in four sets as the biggest player in tennis history left the tournament. Tomas Berdych will play now against the second favorite seeded, Spanish Rafa Nadal in what we should call the toughest match at this year’s Wimbledon edition, both of the players proving tenacity, strength and plenty of struggling during their way to the final.
The words the Czech player said right after the game included: “The feeling is amazing, to reach another victory over another great player, Novak Djokovic, in straight sets, it’s amazing. I think (for) every young kid who first time hits the ball, this is the dream to be in the final of any Grand Slam. And if you can do it at Wimbledon it’s amazing. It’s definitely the biggest tournament for me. It couldn’t be better.”

During the game, Novak Djokovic received a code violation from Carlos Ramos umpire due to his racket whacking against the chair and also clapped mockingly to him.11
