Beware Of Superbug Gene
The NDM – 1 gene that is said to have been taken from foreign hospitals, was registered at two people in the medical university in the southern city of Graz. A person was from Pakistan while the other from Kosovo.
Under good care the person from Pakistan was released in a healthy state, while the other one is still under medical supervision.
This gene appears to be linked to that same gene that causes tract urinary infections and pneumonia.
The reason for which the states should be worried is that the medical tourism that brings a man to the hospital he believe is best suitable for his needs, increases the possibility that the NDM – 1 gene will be a worldwide problem. The microbiologist Johann Pittout believes that this should be a sign of worry in all the countries that are popular with medical tourism. Anyhow, you must think of the fact what would;d you do if a family doctor will be given a patient that has this bacteria?
While it has a frightening name, the name does not come from the size but from the fact that it proved to be resistant to any antibiotics that was offered to treat it. That is why, doctors should start thinking what to do if this gets in the hospitals. At the moment the American population is not under danger.
What the doctor suggest is that people all over the world that are traveling to India and in Pakistan, drink bottled water as well as be very careful to what they are eating and where they are eating from.11
