Billy Ray Cyrus Could Have Been A Better Father

It seems that singer Billy Ray Cyrus thinks he could have been a better father, the star said during a recent interview.
After Billy Ray Cyrus made the announcement on the fact that he had dropped the divorce papers and so the 49 year old singer and his wife, Tish, are going to try and make their marriage work once again, the star now decided to talk about his children. During an appearance on Good Morning America, Billy Ray Cyrus said that he could have been a better father for his kids, Miley, Noah, Braison, Trace and Brandi.

“I did kind of approach being a dad as a friend. I was a great playmate. I mean, for teaching my children how to camp and build fires and ride motorcycles and four-wheelers, and horses, and all those fun kind of things,” Billy Ray Cyrus explained, being quoted by Monstersandcritics.com. And the singer then added that he might have been the best dad when it comes to fun things, but he definitely wasn’t when it comes to more serious aspects, such as homework. So, Billy Ray continued saying that he wasn’t really good when it comes to that aspect, and this is why when he thinks about the way he handled things regarding raising his children, he realizes that maybe he could have done a better work with being a dad.

However, Billy Ray also talked about the relationship with his famous daughter, Miley Cyrus, saying that he wants to be her friend and also the “person she comes to talk to.” But, in the past few weeks it seemed that Miley and Billy Ray are not in the best relationship possible, as it was reported that the young singer was mad with her dad for the comments he made in an interview with GQ magazine, when the singer said that “Hannah Montana,” the show that has made Miley famous, is the one to blame for the issues in their family, the star saying it actually “destroyed” them. However, now Billy Ray changed his mind as he said during his appearance on Good Morning America that the show did not ruin their family and can not be blamed for the problems they have. But, how did he justify the statements already made? Well, Billy Ray said that all he meant was that fame can be really dangerous and it can harm people.

But, Billy Ray is now sure that his daughter will make the right choices, as he said that Miley is intelligent, has a great heart and knows right from wrong, the statements coming despite the famous incident in which a video of Miley’s smoking hallucinogenic herb Salvia became public. However, the singer concluded that he loves Miley “more than life itself.” So, things seem to have settled for Miley and her family. The singer’s parents have reconciled and now it also looks liker her stalker was arrested.

The man was caught by the cops when trying to enter onto Miley’s neighbor’s yard. According to X17Online.com, Musa Danasabe Ibrahim was arrested at 4AM and it looks like the man got the two houses mixed up, his intention being of course to visit Miley. However, he was arrested for trespassing, although the 26 year old man claimed he had a date with Miley. His bail was set at $5,000. But, there is also good news for Miley Cyrus’ fans.
