If one has not heard of breast cancer so far or one has not confronted oneself with this issue, it is important to know that this is one of the most common cancer diseases. It originates from the breast tissue and it most commonly starts from the inner lining of milk ducts or the lobules that supply the ducts with milk. There are many types of breast cancer and as well there are many stages. Depending on the stage one discovers the breast cancer; one will be given at most ten years of living with appropriate treatment such as surgery, drugs or radiation. They can range from localized areas cancer to invasive cancers that can rapidly grow and spread. Breast cancer become more probable after the age of thirty.

Most of the women do not know what its causes are not until they confront themselves with this situation. That is why it is good to maintain good breast cancer awareness in these times.  One can even prevent its happening as far as one takes the preventive measures. First of all one must change the diet and concentrate on eating less fats in ones regime, especially animal fats, that are very bad for your cancer exposure. Along with the menopause, there is a higher risk of breast cancer but one will have to be attentive to the medicines one intake to put a stop to the menopause pains.

A proper diet should as well contain vitamin C, which is a substance that cleans our cells from different toxins from out body; the vitamin E is another energy substance, the beta-caroten will help you in fighting and preventing the appearance of breast cancer as well, the vitamin that are a part of the B complex are as well good of getting you rid of the too much estrogen existent in your body, in drinking one must avoid alcohol and carbonated drinks, and settle for the still water. It will help you clean well your organism.

As this is an international issue, conferences all over the world are taken place each year. In meeting, they are trying to discover new ways of combating breast cancer and of making it less harmful for women all over the world. In 2010 the IMPAKT Breast Cancer Conference took place in May, at Brussels; in March, in Florida, Miami, the 27th Annual Miami Breast Cancer conference took place; in London, during the month of May 2010, there was a breast cancer Campaign and many other such conferences. While some get actively involved into these conferences and offer their full support some may elect of trying to cope with new means of finding out proper anti breast cancer treatments.

While people confronting with this issue, are mainly old aged people, lately there have been noticed an increase in the teenagers breast cancer awareness. While the teenagers are as unaware of the entire situation as they may be caught unprepared and the cancer will develop at a steady peace, the older aged people have a lot of reasons to do annual and regulatory checks.

There are different types of treatments that one can appeal to when dealing with this situations. Instead of finding yourself in a limited situation, one may better deal with this issue appropriately. One type of treatment is surgery – this includes lumpectomy, when a small part of the tissue is taken off from the breast; partial mastectomy – consists in removing a small part of the breast that has cancer; total mastectomy – removing the entire breast that has cancer; modified radical mastectomy – removing the whole breast that ahs cancer as well as many of the lymph nodes under the arm and even the chest wall muscles; radical mastectomy – removes everything that may be related to cancer in that area, so that one will no longer be prone to cancer appearance.

Apart from the surgical intervention, there are other treatments for breast cancer as radiation therapy, made with X-Rays, and that is of two different types, there are the internal and the external radiation therapy. External uses a machine outside the body while the internal introduces a radioactive substance in needles or caterers that are placed straight into the cancer.

Chemotherapy

is another cancer treatment. It is used for almost any type of cancer one may be dealing with but each type has its specific drugs to stop the cancer spreading. While some doctors believe that the cancer may be cause by too many hormones that are in your body, you may be prescribed a hormone therapy so that hormones are removed or blocked in their way of interfering with the cancer cells growth. There is the hormone therapy with estrogen with tamoxifen – early stages of breast cancer; aromatase inhibitor – to women that are in their postmenopausal times.

A revolutionary treatment is believed to have been discovered these days, with cold gas that will freeze the tumor. One creates an ice ball around the tumor that will slowly destroy it and even prevent this ever coming back. It is not a treatment that will produce any pain to the patient nor will he need any further surgery. Until now the method was applied on 13 patients, out of which all of them after five years time did not suffer any coming back of the tumor and they are perfectly healthy. DR Peter Littrup is the one that made this discovery and presented it in March, this year at the 35th Annual Communications Anniversary, from the Society of Interventional Radiology in Florida.

This has not yet been released on usage but whether it is real true, women will have another chance of not being discouraged.
