Jason Trawick and Britney Spears celebrated the star's birthday in Mexico
Despite the rumors that emerged last week saying Britney Spears was assaulted by her boyfriend, the singer had a great time on her birthday.
Which was the scandal? Well, an interview with Jason Alexander, Britney Spears’ Las Vegas husband, was published by a US tabloid, claiming that the singer reached out to her ex after her current boyfriend, Jason Trawick, physically abused her. Of course, after these rumors emerged, Britney issued an official statement to deny all accusations against her boyfriend, claiming she hadn’t spoken with Alexander in months and saying that all the claims are not true. However, a tape aimed to sustain that interview, a recording on which a woman claimed her boyfriend abused her. Of course, it had been said that the woman is Britney Spears and of course, the star denied being her voice on the tape. Her boyfriend also claimed that the accusations aren’t true.
But the mean, fake rumors did not affect Britney’s relationship with Jason, the two being a couple for about two years now. “They did not allow it to get them down,” a source told Us magazine. And Britney and Jason were recently seen at a private party in Conchas Chinas, Mexico. According to Us magazine the two were celebrating Britney’s birthday, the star turning 29 on December 2. Well, it seems that Jason Trawick prepared a series of surprises for his girlfriend, including a birthday cake shipped to the location from Los Angeles.
Jason Trawick, who is Britney’s former agent, and the singer started dating about two years ago. Well, it seems that the 39 years old did his best to impress Britney on her birthday. And Britney was extremely happy. “My birthday weekend away with Jason was amazing. Best birthday of my life!,” the singer told Us Weekly. So, Britney and Jason headed to Mexico to celebrate the star’s 29 birthday and they made things really special as it was reported that they opted for a villa which cost $5,000 per-night. So, although Britney had to be back at work on Monday, the star tweeted about her weekend and said she really had a great time. “Had such an amazing photoshoot with Mario Testino today. So fun!” Britney shared. And if Britney was back on Monday, the next day the star was spotted getting ready for the holidays, as the singer was shopping at Los Angeles Walmart.
