It seems that things have begun to settle for Charlie Sheen. The star’s third wife, Brooke Mueller, has dropped the restraining order against the actor.
So, there is more good news for Charlie Sheen. The same time when reports indicate that Sheen will return on the set of “Two and a Half Men,” as the star currently is in talks with the show’s bosses for a new deal, it also looks like the actor has finally managed to reach an agreement with his soon ex-wife, when it comes to the custody of the couple’s two children. Brooke Mueller has decided to drop the restraining order against the actor, which banned him from having contact with the reality show star and also from seeking his twin boys, Bob and Max. And, as imagined, Sheen was really happy with the news.

Brooke Mueller obtained a restraining order against Charlie Sheen on March 1, the woman claiming the actor threatened to kill her and cops removed Sheen’s sons from his home, as a judge granted Brooke the custody of the kids. However, the order was issued on a limited period of time and it seems that it has expired, but Brooke has no intention in asking for a permanent restraining order against Sheen, People.com reported.

But, besides this particular element, it has also been reported that Brooke Mueller and Charlie Sheen have reached an agreement when it comes to the custody of their children. The two have reached a confidential settlement, but no details regarding this matter have been revealed. Anyway, a TMZ report indicated that both Sheen and Mueller have managed to stay sober, as they have both passed some drug tests that were needed as part of the settlement.

When the restraining order against Sheen was first issued, the star claimed that he was really happy that Brooke asked for one saying that he did not plan to come anywhere near her. However, when his two year old twin sons were removed from his home by the cops and returned to their mother, Sheen claimed he will fight in justice for the custody of the children. However, it seems that things turned out the best way possible for the star, as it was in his interest for a deal to be reached. A court hearing that was supposed to take place, linked to the case has already been canceled. However, no details regarding the settlement have been made public, as reps from both Sheen and Mueller refused to make any comments. The couple separated after the already famous incident that took place on December 25, 2009, when Brooke Mueller claimed that Charlie Sheen attacked her with a knife. However, it looks like the two have managed to avoid an ugly custody battle, at least for now.11
