The former president of Cuba, Fidel Castro, accused the United States and not the North Korea for sinking a South Korean vessel which resulted in killing 46 sailors. This was made to create a major nuclear conflict in that region, Castro stated his opinion. Monday, July 12, Fidel Castro appeared in a televised interview after 11 months, discussing the situation in the Middle East and North Korea. He spoke of an U.S and Israeli attack on Iran who is developing a nuclear program since 1950 with the help of the United States.

The former leader of Cuba manifested his disappointment of China and Russia for not vetoing a United Nation Security Council amendment for more coercive measures for the illegal nuclear program.

Iran is preparing for a confrontation for almost 30 years. If the U.S and Israeli force attacks Iran it will meet a very strong resistance, incomparable with the forces of Iraq, said Fidel Castro.

Castro spoke on Cuban TV. He appeared in a blue tracksuit at a show called “Roundtable” . At the age of 83 years old, Fidel Castro has few appearances since the intestinal surgery he suffered in July 2006 when he ceded power to his brother Raul Castro.

The appearance follows an announcement that was issued last week about the largest release of Cuban political prisoners in more than 10 years.

His annotations were based on an article published on July 12 which was debating the idea of possible nuclear war involving the U.S and Iran.

It’s going to be like an ocean of fire “said the president of Cuba.

Do you think Fidel Castro still has the power in Cuba?
