Britain will reduce spending, increase taxes, including VAT, and will impose a new tax on the banking system which will provide funding to two billion pounds, according to the budget presented on Tuesday, the British Minister of Finance, George Osborne.

Old housing sales fell unexpectedly in May, following the delay in processing applications for mortgage loans fixed for conclusion of a government program to encourage lending area, causing the decrease on Wall Street Monday.

Number of dollar millionaires in 2009 increased 17% worldwide, with ten million, despite the fact that the global economy enters the worst recession in decades, according to a study by Merrill Lynch and Capgemini.
