Celine Dion To Talk About Twins

Celine Dion welcomed her twins about six weeks ago, on October 23, but the famous singer is a very proud mother. Celine Dion tried for years to conceive again.

Well, Celine Dion will appear on the cover of Hello! Canada this week with her babies, Nelson and Eddy. And she says that the twins have made her life extraordinary. The 42 years old star says that there is now sleep with the children in the house and it takes all he time to take care of her three sons. But, it looks like the twins are already showing their personality. “Nelson is Angelil,” Celine explained according to the Daily Mail. “Eddy is Dion!”

But, in another interview with Larry King, Celine also explained how she came up with the names for the babies and said that although the two are not identical the family can be quite confused about which son is which. “But we were all confused. After a week we sat down and thought it would be our two heroes,” Celine explained. She added that they decided for the name Nelson after Nelson Mandela. The star went to South Africa on her last tour and the trip had a huge impact on her, so big that she decided to name her son this way.

Well if things are clear with Nelson, Celine also explained why she opted for the name Eddy for the second baby. She said that she wanted the child to have the name of a famous lyricist, Eddy Marnay. Marnay worked with Celine on her first five French albums, but the lyricist had also worked with Barbra Streisand and Edith Piaf. So, Celine’s reason in opting for these names was given by the fact that she wanted the babies to “be able to say they were named after two wonderful people.”

But, although Celine Dion is now a happy mother, the star also agreed to talk about her battle to conceive. She added that is feels great to be parents again. “We tried five times before I got pregnant. On the sixth try, it worked out. We were blessed twice,” Celine said. But, Celine also revealed a detail of the pregnancy saying that she had originally been pregnant with three babies, but she lost one. “One little baby decided to step back to help the other two survive,” she said and added that she still thinks about that baby. However, the most important thing now is the health of the two babies, as Celine explained that Eddy is smallest and more delicate.

Celine Dion and Rene Angelil, who is 68 years old, have another son together, Rene-Charles, who is nine years old. Eddy and Nelson were born on October 23 via C-section at a Florida hospital. The couple had tried for years to have another child, and Celine turned to vitro fertilization. She suffered a miscarriage in August 2009. “The love and what I feel inside, what we have accomplished – I don’t know how to put it into words,” Celine Dion concluded. “It’s bigger than life itself.”
