Actor Charlie Sheen is finally divorced. So, although the star and his wife separated more than a year ago, the star is only now officially a free man.
So, Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller’s divorce was finalized on Monday. The two stars had to wait for six months for this moment, but now, they are both free. The former “Two and a Half Men” star and his third wife separated in 2009, after the already famous Christmas day incident, when Brooke claimed that her husband attacked her with a knife. The cops were called at the scene of the events and Charlie was arrested and charged. The actor pleaded guilty and entered rehab.
But, although separated, Brooke and Charlie found many things to disagree on, the most obvious one being the agreement on the custody of the couple’s twin sons. At some point the two boys were actually removed from Sheen’s home by the cops, after Brooke obtained a restraining order against her former husband, claiming the star threatened to kill her and adding that she feared for the safety of her children in Sheen’s presence. But, both Charlie and Brooke managed to get involved in new troubles on their own, both spending time in rehab to overcome their addiction issues. Brooke failed to pass a drug test last month and checked into rehab, again. But, maybe this time they have actually managed to make peace and get along, the way Sheen did with his second wife, actress Denise Richards, all for the sake of their kids.
Well, it seems that the custody agreement says Sheen will have to pay $55,000 a month in child support to Brooke. This sum, the papers indicate, can not be lower than the one Charlie is paying to Denise in child support, for the couple’s two daughters, Sam and Lola. “Under no circumstances shall the child support paid by Charlie for Bob and Max be less than the child support paid by Charlie to Denise Richards for Sam and Lola,” the papers say. However, besides the child support money, Brooke will also receive the sum of $757,698.70 and $1 million for her share in the couple’s home, house that will remain to Charlie.
But, on the other hand, Charlie Sheen, who has been fired from his popular television series, “Two and a Half Men,” earlier this year, seems to be successful with his own show, Violent Torpedo of Truth, the star still being on tour. And it also looks like he also found a new love, as Sheen was spotted with his new girlfriend Natalie Kenly in Paris.11
