Charlie Sheen To Spend Thanksgiving With Denise Richards
Charlie Sheen was invited by his former wife, Denise Richards, to spend Thanksgiving with the couple’s two daughters Sam and Lola.
Charlie Sheen has created many headlines in the past months and most of them were linked to the already famous October incident that took place in the actor’s hotel room in New York. The actor also filed for divorce earlier this month from his third wife, Brooke Mueller. “Charlie spent the afternoon eating turkey with Denise and their two daughters,” a source told PopEater.com. “It was a wonderful time for them all to be together and Denise’s idea that they all sit down together as one happy family as if that awful night had never happened,” the source added. So, Denise Richards put the event aside and decided to spend a lovely night with her daughters, the actress wanting the girls to spend the holiday with their father.
But, unfortunately for Sheen the consequences of his behavior that night didn’t end. The actor filed a lawsuit against Capri Anderson, the woman who was in Sheen’s hotel room the night of the incident and who was hired to accompany the actor during a dinner out, claiming that the adult movie actress tried to extort $1 million from him, threatening him with going to the media with a fabricated story about the incident. And Sheen filed the papers just hours after the interview with Capri Anderson aired on ABC. The porn star said Sheen assaulted her and claimed the actor held her in the hotel room against her will. But, Anderson continued her story claiming that she feared for her life when Sheen started acting crazy. Sheen, on the other hand said that Anderson was only looking for money and as a result she dropped the sum she asked to $500,000 on the eve of taping the interview. Of course, Capri has a different story here also. She said that Sheen offered to pay her in order to remain silent on the incident, but also said that she never received any money from the actor.
So, the story is far from ending. And in fact, Denise Richards will also be interviewed by the cops over the night out when she met Sheen and Anderson. Now, the New York police are investigating the assault complaint Capri has filed against Sheen. In the complaint, Anderson said that Sheen put his hands around her throat and threatened to kill her. But, Sheen wasn’t arrested the night of the incident when copes arrived on the scene. He was hospitalized and soon released to return home in Los Angeles. Anyway, it seems that both Sheen and Denise Richards will be questioned over the incident. Denise met Sheen that night for dinner, before the actor and Capri headed back to the actor’s hotel room.
But, this is not the first incident involving domestic violence charges for Charlie. Sheen pleaded guilty in August in a case related to another assault charge. The actor was accused of assaulting his wife Brooke Mueller on Christmas day last year. Sheen spent 30 days in rehab and was placed after on probation. But, it looks like things are not that bad between Brooke and Charlie after all, as the actor’s former wife refused to talk to the police about the incident. So, Mueller who has been in court with Sheen on domestic violence charges refused to be interviewed by the police on this new case. The interview aimed to find similarities between that case and Sheen’s behavior in the hotel room, the New York Post wrote.
But, no matter the issues in his personal life, Charlie Sheen remains the best paid actor in television, as his series, “Two and a Half Men,” is a top rated show. And so, it is safe to say that his public image and the constant troubles that Sheen manages to get himself involved in haven’t hurt his show. And according to Chuck Lorre, the whole show was created around Charlie Sheen and his character. So, it seems that his “personal issues don’t come onto the stage, and he’s been a good partner for a long time,” as Lorre said according to The Hollywood Reporter.11
