China expressed on Saturday an official position on the possible intervention to end the violent crackdown in Libya, by saying it opposes any foreign intervention in this state, and that if there should be some mission however, it should be led by the United Nations.

The allegations were made at the fourth session of the National Committee of the political consultative conference of the leading People’s Party.

The Chinese opposition comes at a time when the international community is searching for a way to make sure the regime in Tripoli no longer keeps assassinating its own population.
As Muamar al Qaddafi ordered the military to fire on people and bomb the districts that no longer acknowledge his rule, a no-fly zone was proposed by American army and was agreed by the Arab League on the condition that it would be implemented by the Arab states and the African Union troops.
A no-fly zone would mean that the Libyan air defense systems should be brought down first.
Libyan president has launched various attacks to occupy the cities and territories that refused to recognize his authority.
Meanwhile, the unrest continues in other countries, like Oman, Yemen or Bahrain.
