City Completed Kolarov Deal
Who doesn’t City buy? Well, pretty hard to answer to this question, although it would rather sound “Who doesn’t City want among the very good?” However, the English club made another transfer these days as Mancini’s side signed Lazio Aleksandar Kolarov. The 240year-old Serbian already underwent the medicals tests in Manchester these days and will soon join the English team, although we won’t take part to the American pre-season of the team. According to the reports, Serbian’s move has been discussed for more hours, apart from the both clubs’ officials, was also Mancini who took part to the negotiations. Over the last weeks, Kolarov has been also linked by Italian rivals Juventus, but it seems no-one has City’s spending power nowadays.
Concerning Serbian’s move to the English Premier League, City’s manager Roberto Mancini declared right after the signing he’s happy with the transfer, Kolarov being one of the few able to play in more positions: “He has the ability to play in numerous positions and is very good in midfield. This is an additional benefit to the team. He has a fantastic international career ahead of him. I first saw Kolarov in his Lazio debut back in 2007. I was impressed by the speed and strength of someone so young. I have watched him a lot since then and so have the Manchester City scouts. His attacking capability is very good. He is fast and can shoot with power and accuracy.”

“He was composed on the ball, had an excellent delivery with his left foot and was technically very able.” The young player took part on Serbia’s lamentable performance during the World Cup tournament in South Africa where the team was early sent home by Australia and Ghana, both of the countries beating Serbia with 2-1, respective 1-0 as their win against Germany wasn’t enough in order to reach the round of 16.11
