Contact lenses, possible clue in Janet Abaroa’s murder case
Police investigators are traveling to the small Pennsylvania cemetery to see if Janet Abaroa, who was murdered five years ago, was wearing contact lenses at the time of her burial.
Raven Abaroa, Janet’s husband, is charged with first-degree murder for killing his wife, who was pregnant at the time. The accused husband did not want to let investigators to exhume his wife, but the Pennsylvania judge agreed with them, so Abaroa’s body will be disinterred from a family tomb located in Franklin County and will be taken for autopsy to Allentown. Timothy Dowd, the victim’s family spokesman says that it is very stressful and disturbing for the family to see Janet’s body exhumed, but they will cope with that if it helps the investigation. On the 26th of April 2005, a few hours before her death, Janet Abaroa, aged 26 at that time, picked up her child from the day care and went, together with Raven, to leave her car at a garage where it was supposed to be repaired.

Later that day, Raven Abaroa told the police that he found his wife murdered when he returned home a few hours later, and that she was sleeping when he left the house. Raven Abaroa is still sustaining that he is innocent and that he was playing soccer the night of the murder. After the murder he remarried and moved to Idaho, but his second wife divorced him because she says that she believes Raven has killed Janet.

So, if she was sleeping, she would not have had contact lenses in her eyes? Let’s complete the logic to the story!
I was there on monday when they exhumed the body…..I was there tuesday and looked into the empty grave site…….and again this morning as they returned the body. Very chilling
Ok, these murder cases are really starting to freak me out. How can you plan to murder a person which you are supposed to love for all eternity? These cold blooded murdered deserve no mercy and they deserve to be friend on the electric chair!!!!!
I know Ravon, and believe he is innocent, he was a good and kind person, a devoted dad, who could get back from a soccer game and get so “madd” within 1/2 hour you’d kill???d I know my husband has gotten worked up to the point where he’d like to…augh! but that takes hours, hours! The suppose to love for eternity comes into play also, you wouldn’t, kill them, plus they’d had a visit from their hometeachers, that night which creats a soothing atmosphere. trully! Lets not forget a laptop was missing…that was a very valuable thing 6 yrs ago. probably ONLY valuable thing, in a young couples apt. Innocent until Proven Quilty! REally!?
Until Proven Guilty??
I dated Raven in 1996(I met him at a Bicycle store my brother worked at) He was very aggressive and got angry easily if you didn’t do what he wanted. I stopped dating him for those very reasons not to mention he was always flirting with other girls. We lost contact in 1997 or 1998. I had heard he moved back to Salt Lake City in 2005 because his wife had been murdered. He found me on Facebook in 2008 and asked me to dinner at the time he was married to his 2nd wife. I asked him if he was married and he replied no that they were separated. I called my brother and he warned me to stay away that he was accused of killing his wife. I never talked to him again.Thank god I never reconnected with this horrible guy and Im fortunate I did not end up dating him long I could have suffered the same fate as his first wife. Scary stuff.
Carolee, Raven was a serial cheater, he was narcissistic, he had severe anger management issues. Who is to say he didn’t kill her before going to play soccer, so he could get rid of the knife, the bloody clothes, etc. You mention the laptop missing. Raven was arrested 4 months prior for embezzling 10k worth of products from a company he was working at. Since Raven was planning the murder, he probably had stuff on his computer he didn’t want anyone to see. Funny how someone would sneak upstairs kill Janet and walk right past her wedding rings and other expensive things laying around. Raven is a master manipulator, he planned, premeditated and murdered Janet and got away with it for 5 years. I also find it funny that there was no money for bills, groceries, etc. but he could afford to keep a high priced life insurance policy out on Janet. That’s very telling. We’re not even talking about the fact months after the murder he seduced and got an under aged girl pregnant. He’s dangerous and if he ends up getting away with Janet’s murder, he’ll kill again imo.
