Courteney Cox: No Plans To Get Divorced

Courteney Cox and David Arquette may get back together as the actress says she doesn't want the divorce

The separation between Courteney Cox and David Arquette has created many headlines in the past weeks, and not only because the split of the famous Hollywood couple came as a big shock, but also because David Arquette has managed to make people talk about their marriage through his own statements, given in different interviews.
Well, if in his last call on Howard Stern show, David Arquette said that he and his wife what different things and they will probably remain separated, although he still loves her very much, Courteney seems to not want the divorce. However, this was the first time when Courteney decided to talk publicly about the split, although her husband has been open about it and has given different details regarding the 11 years marriage since the official statement of the separation has been made.

“I don’t know what will happen, but this is not like we’re getting divorced,” Courteney Cox said in an interview for TV Week, according to People magazine. “This is a separation and I think that takes a lot of courage . . . Whatever is supposed to happen will be the best thing for us,” the “Friends” actress added. However, she also mentioned that they realized in several occasions they want different things and they “have grown apart,” as Courteney says. The actress also added that she wasn’t shocked at all with her husband’s declarations on Howard Stern show because she knows her husband is a fan of the radio show and in fact, he is an entertainer and people are entrained by his story. However, David Arquette apologized to his wife after talking in the radio show and revealing different details of their marriage.

Well, now that Cox and Arquette celebrated Halloween together, as they took their daughter Coco, aged 6, to trick or treat, and they managed to spend some time together and as Cox said in her interview, and they are inseparable and that is actually great. David used an Elvis costume for the holiday, while Courteney dressed up as a sunflower and their daughter Coco was a bumblebee. Anyway, if David makes his confessions in different shows, Courteney turned to her best friend Jennifer Aniston, who has gone through a divorce herself, being in the position to end her marriage to Brad Pitt when rumors emerged saying that the famous actor had an affair with Angelina Jolie while the two were working together on the set of “Mr. and Mrs. Smith.” However, Courteney and Jennifer have been friends since the “Friends” show aired starting with the 1990s, the two actresses being co-stars in the famous television series, and in fact Courteney was there for her BFF during her painful divorce. Anyway, Courteney said that she has no idea what is going to happen next, but “things are being shaken up and I don’t know what’s going to happen, but, yeah, Jennifer has been amazing for sure.”

Courteney Cox and David Arquette announced their separation in October, after 11 years of marriage. In their official statement the two mentioned that they will remain best friends and they still love each other very much, despite the split. After the official announcement, David Arquette made different comments on the marriage and the split, saying that he and his wife haven’t had sex for several months before the split, comments that weren’t appreciated by Courteney. Soon rumors emerged saying that the actor cheated on his wife with wannabe actress Jasmine Waltz. The actor confirmed the affair, but said he and Courteney were separated at that time and they agreed seeing other people, so he wasn’t actually cheating on her. Anyway, now Courteney Cox and David Arquette are working together at “Scream 4,” which opens in April 2011.11
