After marring earlier this year, actor David Schwimmer has another good news. The famous “Friends” star is going to be a dad. He and his wife, Zoe Buckman, are expecting their first child together.
David Schwimmer and Zoe Buckman wed about eights months ago, but the couple decided to keep the news secretly for months after the happy event. Well, according to the actor’s rep the couple are really excited with the news. “They couldn’t be more thrilled,” their rep said according to Us magazine and a source told the publication that Zoe is already “four to five months” along in her pregnancy. It seems that now the couple is in London for the holidays.

But, the actor expressed his desire to become a dad years ago, and claimed that it will hopefully happen for him when the right time will come. “I think it’s gonna have to wait until I settle down and have a family,” David Schwimmer told People magazine in 2006.

David Schwimmer is definitely best known for his role in famous television series “Friends.” However, since those days, the actor managed to create a name also when it comes to directing different projects. He is the director of “Run Fatboy Run,” the 2007 movie which stars Simon Pegg, and now is working at a new project, which will be out in 2011, “Trust.” The movie stars actors Catherine Keener and Clive Owen. Zoe Buckman is a British photographer and the two have started dating in 2007. The 44 years old actor and his 24 years old wife met in London, when the star was directing his “Run Fatboy Run” movie and the two got engaged in March 2010. At the time when they met, Zoe was working as a waitress, some reports claim and she served David’s table at the Cuckoo Club in London’s West End.

However, they decided to wed only this year. The wedding ceremony took place in June, and the couple opted for a private event. And now it seems that they are going to welcome their first child together. After the two met, Zoe decided to leave her London home and move to Los Angeles with David. The couple lives in the United States. David Schwimmer has always wanted to remain private about his life, but over the years he had been linked to some female celebrities, including Australian singer Natalie Imbruglia and model Gina Lee. Reports claimed he was also engaged to Israeli actress Mili Avital.11
