David Schwimmer welcomed his first child, a baby girl
Happy news for actor David Schwimmer. The star just welcomed his first child. The baby is healthy and both baby and mom are doing well.
Well, Zoe Buckman, David Schwimmer’s wife, gave birth on 8 May in New York City, and so the couple became parents for the first time. And the celebrity couple has already made their choice when it comes to the name of the child, and so they shared that their daughter will be named Cleo Buckman Schwimmer. The 44 year old actor and his 25 year old wife were happy to share the news. The news has also been confirmed by a rep for the actor.
However, the former “Friends” star also decided to share the happy news on his Twitter page. And the actor and movie director shared a photo of his wife and the newborn baby. “Hey everyone. Please welcome my daughter, Cleo, to this crazy but wonderful world,” David Schwimmer tweeted.
Zoe Buckman and David Schwimmer wed in 2010. The couple first met about three years before making the decision to marry, in 2007, in London, while Schwimmer was filming “Run Fatboy Run.” However, the two opted to keep the event privately, so it actually became public only weeks after talking place. The two just wanted a small, private ceremony and this is exactly the way they planned their June 2010 wedding.
David Schwimmer remains best known for his role in popular television series “Friends.” However, after ending the show, Schwimmer turned to directing and now the star is promoting his latest project. Schwimmer directed movie “Trust,” movie in which co-star famous actors Clive Owen and Catherine Keener. He will also be part of the latest Madagascar movie, giving his voice to character Melman.11
