Another day, another way to make you feel better. From the chain of home-made or home-based recipies, we give you today the home-made perfume. It’s easy, more affordable, and because you make it yourself, guaranteed to be organic, all-natural, and therefore, non-invasive to the skin. In case you didn’t know, many of the chemicals used in popular fragnances are linked to sperm damage, hormone disruption, as well as allergic reactions among other issues, so do you really want to puff that all over your body?

The New York Times has a fascinating story about the increasing popularity of DIYers making perfume from homegrown flowers. Don’t worry, is less invasive than the “Perfume – The Story of a Murderer” movie, but it tells mainly, step by step, how you too can make your own perfume. If you want, however, you can jump straight to the end of the story for a pretty easy-to-follow formula, but don’t forget that the actual process can be the easiest part, if you do find the specific ingredients which, I admit, are pretty hard to find.
