Doctors Ordered To Stop After Gaffing
While having an abortion, a woman was seriously injured by two doctors in Maryland, Baltimore. The name of the two doctors is Dr. Steven Brigham and Dr. Nicola Riley.
The decision that the State Board of Physicians took was that the first one was no longer allowed to practice medicine without a license in Maryland, while the other was suspended the license. As the police have made some investigations into these two doctors files, they found dozens of late-term fetuses in a freezer at a clinic.
After the woman had an abortion that failed, on August 13th, she was again brought to the hospital, this time to Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, by the two doctors as she was injured. Doctors there discovered she had a uterine perforation. The woman was just 18 years old.
A doctor from the Hopkin hospital filed a complaint against Riley and then repaired the injuries that this girl had.
The 18 year old woman was presented to Brigham on 12th August by the American Women’s Service office in New Jersey. Next day she was given some pills to induce contractions and then was directed to drive all the way up to Elkton facility where she was supposed to be operated.
The two doctors that she entrusted her life with are not quite right from the point of view of the profession. While Brigham is licensed in New Jersey but not Maryland, the doctor Riley, has a license but she is known as posing threat to her patients and to the general public.
Apart from these two doctors, there is another doctor that helped them by ordering the medications for the AWS Maryland facilities. He had just the same, the license suspended. He as well took part in various abortions that actually started in a state and then the patients were told to drive to another location to have the abortion finalized.
The best thing before putting yourself in the hands of a doctor that you may not know so good, is recommended that you take some information about that person and about his medical history. There is no use in trusting your life into a doctor’s hands, even if it may be something external, if the doctor is risking your life you may just the same not be healthy again and more problems can appear after making a risky operation. The most important thing is to make it all legal, not listen to the doctor and drive, at a certain point, as there is no such thing.
