Egyptian Muslims Protect Coptic Christians on Christmas Day
Egyptian Muslims made good on their promise and attended the Coptic Christmas mass on Friday in an action meant to be a “human shield” to protect Christ’s worshippers against radical Islamists that promised to continue violent acts against Copts all over the world.
Thus, thousands of Egyptian Muslims came to Alexandria to protect with their bodies the Two Saints Cathedral that was the target of a suicide bomber that killed 23 people on New Year’s Day, and to greet the Christians as the were coming out of church after the services dedicated to the Birth of Christ.
The gesture is construed as the most serious civil stance against sectarian violence in a country known for its tolerance.
According to the bishop of Alexandria, the Muslims present at the religious services of the Copts treated the Christian victims of the attack as Muslim martyrs and pronounced “God is great!” every time they were mentioned. They also applauded when the terrorist attacks were condemned.
Meanwhile, Egyptian authorities decided to protect the Christian people praying on Christmas and employed special security precautions.
Coptic congregants were asked to empty their pockets before entering church, and created paths for the Christian demonstrators that took to the streets of Alexandria every night since the bombing on January 1.
Nine percent of the population of Egypt are Coptic Christians, who adhere to the Coptic church, an Orthodox church that is separated by the Eastern Orthodox church by the refusal to accept the decision of the Fourth Ecumenical Council in Chalcedon in 451, when it was decided that the person of Jesus Christ comprised two natures, a human one and a divine one.

The Human is a staged act after the Muslims killed and terrorized the Christians. They are sure that their terrorist boys would not do it again at least when they are at the church. This is for photo up purposes and for excusing the Islam faith from the blood all over it everywhere. It is better if the Christians are given their rights and allowed to build their churches get employed in high positions and be treated fairly. It would be nice if the culprits of Naga Hamadi massacre on the eve of last Christmas when they machine gunned Christians in front of the church that they get executed (they will not) because according to the Islamic Sharea (NO MUSLIM GETS DEATH PUNISHMENT FOR KILLING AN INFIDEL). The photo up of human shields is just a cheap acting and temporary defense of the Islam reputation. It is also to prevent outside UN troops from really protecting the Christians from further Muslim massacres. It is made to block any attempt from the Christians to gain any rights from this disaster. This is to prevent the separation of Egyptian Christians from Muslims to form their own country as Southern Sudan did to preserve their lives from slaughter by the blood thirsty cult Islam. Here is what the VICTIMS SAID TO THE PRESS:
‘THEY HATE US’
Samira Fawzy, who lost two sisters and a niece in the explosion, stood outside the sanctuary after mass clad in black, with a heavy face and red-rimmed eyes. “They hate us,” she said of Egyptian Muslims. “All of them say they feel sorry, but we know that they hate us very, very much.”
Her niece Marina, who was killed in the blast, was due to get married in two weeks. “She had bought everything for her wedding,” said Ms. Fawzy before turning away in tears.
Another man said he was wounded fighting for Egypt in the October War, or Yom Kippur War, against Israel. “I brought water to my Muslim comrade who was also wounded,” he said. “And this is how they repay me?”
In the hospital next door, a middle-aged man lay on a gurney with a fractured skull and an oxygen mask strapped to his face. He echoed Adel’s complaint, saying his wounds came not from the explosion, but at the hands of the security forces Saturday evening as he attempted to enter the church to help retrieve the bodies for the funeral.
“The security forces wouldn’t let me in,” he said. “They beat me.”
In another room, a 3-your-old girl with burns on her face stared blankly at the ceiling, her legs wounded by the bolts and ball bearings packed into the bomb. Her mother and sister were also wounded in the attack, so her aunt and grandmother tended to her, trying to make her comfortable.
I can’t agree w/ markos’s first sentence at all. the world is made up of people who crave peace regardless relgion, and those extremists who still run on the gas of their alligator brains and 1400′s mentality. We are witnessing the growing pains of the future of the muslim world, and with the help of our social networks, will see more and more PEACEFUL HUMANS coming out, w/o their labels for us to make dumb assumptions that they are good or bad people. EVOLVE with us, all, and STAND UP FOR PEACE and stop the fuckalls who bully w/ self-righteousness and bombs. Those people are WRONG. It’s pretty simple, really. We Peaceful just need to get our balls out and start the Peace process, whether it be through rebellions, wars, etc., it shouldn’t be religion vs. religion or brown vs white, but peace vs. asshole.
This was a beautiful gesture! Change can happen if those of us who do not fear or hate based on bigotry. I pray for the day we will be judged not by our skin color, gender, what gender we choose to make love to, or how we praise God, but by our integrity and contribution to our fellow man
