Inter to face Bayern in last season's final reiteration

Champions League knock-out stage draws provided several surprises in Nyon, Switzerland as two UCL finals are to be reiterated in the last 16 round. Defending champions Inter Milano will face Bayern Munich, while FC Barcelona and Arsenal will remind of the 2006 final. The Catalans would beat the Gunners 2-0 at the moment after being led 1-0 at the half time. Samuel Eto’o and Juliano Belletti were the ones to bring Barca’s third UCL trophy. Manchester United and Real Madrid will face – theoretically speaking – weaker teams. The Devils are to play Olympique Marseille, while Jose Mourinho’s side will deal Olympique Lyon.

Chelsea is to face another smaller name. The Blues are expected to make the trip in Copenhagen in order to face FC, the team which succeeded to hold Barcelona in a 1-1 draw. On the other side, Tottenham Hotspur will travel once again at the San Siro stadium as Harry Redknapp’s side will face AC Milan. Rossoneri finished second in the same group with Real Madrid, while Spurs claimed the top spot in a tough first group with Inter Milano favorite.

The first legs will take place on 15, 16, 22, 23 February, while the second on 8, 9, 15, 16 March. Wembley Stadium of London will host the Final.
