The couple that for a brief period of time was making the world jealous with their fresh relationship doesn’t seem to be doing so well after the divorce. Even though Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva had previously announced their separation was amicable and that they’d remain friends and co-operate in order to raise their baby girl together, the next step each of the two decided to take was to each file for a restraining order. Oksana Grigorieva seems to be the first to have received a restraining order against the American actor, claiming he was violent towards her.  After the restraining order was issued, Gibson was prohibited from having any contact of any kind with his previous girlfriend. Later on, Gibson’s attorney’s requested and received a modified version of the order which allowed the actor to see his daughter.  Gibson and Grigorieva share custody of 8-month-old Lucia.
A source claimed Oksana Grigorieva’s allegations were unjustified, as the mentioned incident had taken place in January and the two continued to travel together afterwards. Mel Gibson’s lawyer also made a statement recently, according to which Grigorieva is actually making the story of abuse up. The reason to this? Grigorieva is apparently not happy with the custody agreement reached in court.  Kolodny, Gibson’s lawyer told TMZ that Grigorieva had made up the story in order to justify the restraining order she filed in order to keep the actor away from their daughter.

While no one can know what the truth is, we’re looking forward to see what other details leak through the following week.11
