Gmail-No More Phishing
I believe that you were too among the people that are so annoyed by the fact that no matter whom from no matter which site is sending you advertising e-mails, without being actually subscribed at their sites.
And this is not the worst thing, but when the mails are lots, this really becomes annoying. Some of us have even tried to find out the mail addresses from which the mail has been sent, but this was a little bit complicated, at least on Google’s mail, the Gmail.
But this is over now, because Gmail has implemented an anti-phishing function that will allow users directly to see the mails that are so disturbing. So, isn’t this cool?
If we think about the fact that before, we had to manually use some buttons that would ask us if we want to see the mail of the sender and so on, this feature will definitely be really nice and will allow us to add at the spam list directly the email. This is also useful, because in this way we will be able to protect us from the potential harmful programs that can be downloaded automatically without even noticing.
Another great thing that Google is going to improve at its mail is represented by the boosting of the security of the contact list, by hiding the mail address of a certain sender. This means that if you receive a mail and you reply to it, you will not be able to see the full address, which means that only you, who have it in the contact list, will be able to communicate with him or her. I find this feature really good because there are moments when people can steal mail addresses from friends or colleagues. So, this thing has now being avoided.
How about you? Which are your suggestion for future improvement? I would say that I would like Google to make a more friendly interface for its e-mail service, because it doesn’t look that good. But this may be only my opinion.
I have also heard about other complaints regarding the speed of the mail and the fact that the service sends the e-mail really slow, in this way people wasting a lot of time.
There are lots of things that Google should change, but with this start they find themselves on the good road. People will always want more from their mailing service and I really support this because the mail is like the private diary and should be as safe as possible. But this is another story that should be told.11
