How can a celebrity ruin your wedding?

A wedding is a very important moment in every individual’s life. So, believes the State’s secretary, Hilary Clinton, who recently declared that this event, her daughter’s, Chelsea, wedding has priority for her. The wedding is going to take place in July 31st in the Rhinebeck area.

Chelsea Clinton got engaged in 2009 and since then all kind of speculations about her potential wedding have been made. Not any longer, because the ex-first daughter has announced the happy event that will take place at the end of the month. She and her boyfriend Marc Mezvinsky, an investment banker, decided to get married after a relationship that lasted very long. The two actually know each other since childhood.

Well, not everybody is happy for Chelsea, or at least if not because of the wedding itself, definitely because of the date of the event. Emn Haddad-Friedman, a local school teacher, was supposed to get married in the same day and in the same place as Chelsea Clinton and now she is worried that her wedding will be ruined. She declared in an interview for Shine that she did tried to chance the date or the location of her special day, but since everything is already paid for, it is too late for that.

Emn Haddad-Friedman knows that Chelsea didn’t do this on purpose, but still her own wedding might be ruined. But, which is the problem? It seems that the weddings are going to take place very close, at about 5 minutes distance one from another. If this happens, probably all the roads are going to closed and for the Emn’s guests it will be very difficult if not almost impossible to get form the ceremony to the reception. Who wants to drive on this road for more than one hour and a half? They probably won’t come to the reception at all, at least this is what Emn thinks. And the worst thing is that Obama might also be present at Clinton’s daughter wedding and this definitely means the closure of all roads.

Well, Emn has a last hope: that is all a diversion and in fact Chelsea and her fiance are getting married in Martha’s Vineyard, as many rumors tend to show. But, if rumors aren’t true, the case of Emn and her boyfriend Alex Bero is the best example on how can a celebrity or a famous person ruin your wedding day, without the desire to actually do it.

At the end of the interview, more as a joke, or maybe seriously, Emn and her mother, who is the one helping her with all the wedding planning, said that they would like after all to have the ex-president, his wife, the Secretary of State and daughter along with the new husband, invited at the wedding.

Chelsea Clinton has probably better things to worry about than the fact that another wedding is taking place in the same time with her own. In fact, it is not her fault. But the situation itself is funny or on the other hand quite sad? For Emn and her boyfriend certanly isn’t funny at all. But things could have been much worse. Imagine what would have happened if Paris Hilton got married there in a glamorous event at the same time and in the same place.
