If you want a healthy, glowing looking skin with no signs of tiredness, wrinkles, signs or big pores, you should definitely give Mother Nature a try and not ignore its potential. Here are some useful tips for greening your skin care:

Back to basics. Don’t believe in everything that is presented as a scientific break-through or a miraculous product, because miracles don’t happen every couple of months. All you need is a basic cleanser, toner, moisturizer and a sunscreen protection cream to keep your skin revigorated and in tip-top shape.

Consider the Package. Though it may not seem much, unnecessary, excessive or non-recycled packaging has a huge impact upon environment, so try show nature some respect, ok? Unnecessary packaging is common with cosmetics as are plastic containers, tubes, bottles etc.

Did you know that $160 billion is spent annually on skin and hair care, including  makeup, cosmetic surgery, fragrances, health care and diet products? And I’m guessing not all of these money is spent on green, eco-friendly and animal-friendly products.

Also, only 11% of the 10,500 ingredients used in personal care products have been documented and publicly assessed for safety by the U.S. government.
