How to same money is a question I’ve asked myself lots of times.
When times are tough, people have to resort to all sort of new solutions in order to stay afloat and avoid late mortgage payments or even foreclosures.

Because these grim prospects worry me, I’ve come up with a few tips on how to insure a positive cash flow in your home. Money that you save equals the money that you make minus the money that you spend. So, in order for you to ensure you save as much money as possible you have to cut from your expenses. Which basically means, you’ll make the same money, but the result will be different – more saved up money – because you’ll spend less.

First, in order for us to be on the same page I have to let you know I’ll assume you have a job and a home. This means you have income and expenses.

In order for you to some up on cash, you have to make a list of all your expenses and prioritize.
You’ll surely put down on your list things like paying rent, paying bills, income taxes, etc. and you’ll soon enough discover that each month you have to spend most or even all of your money. But it doesn’t have to be like this and after you follow my instructions, you’ll soon see the results.

Once your list is done, you then have to look closely and see which of these expenses you can live without. Whether it’s buying a new toaster or a new pair of shoes, you must have expenses that in our times are unnecessary. Once you’ve covered this task and crossed  your unneeded expenses from the list you have to learn how to save up on your hard earned money. This process ranges from talking less on the phone, or getting a better service provider to driving more eco-friendly and therefor more budget-friendly.
After you finished this process and the new ways on saving money have become part of your routine, take the time and see how much money you’ve managed to save. This will come in handy and will definitely motivate you for keeping this self-though budget-friendly routine.

Here are the key poits to saving money:
- Do not spend money on unnecessary new items. Instead you can repair your older ones or find ways to improve them.
- Learn how to live an energy and water-saving life. This will cut the costs to your bills and will help the environment.
- If you have some extra money, don’t keep it under a pillow, put it in a savings account so that you’ll receive interest.
- Try to recycle.
- If you have old clothes that are in mint condition, but that you haven’t worn for a lot of time see if some of them  can be brought back to life. With the right accessories you can envigorate your entire wardrobe.
- If you spend a lot of money on phone bills try to see if other service providers have better contracts or options for you.
- When buying a car, look carefully at the mile/galon ratio and the insurance fees. When you already own a car try to drive budget-friendly. No “races” on the streets and definetly less driving during rush hour. Or you can even try to carpool with someone to work.

- Finally, when spending, spend wisely! Be on the lookout for special offers, discounts, etc.

These are only some of the million ways you can start reducing expenses.
If you have other ideas feel free to let me know. I’d love to try them.
