How To Write An Attractive Article
Structuring the article
Long posts usually annoy the visitors and they lose the mood to read them, but if you structure your article well, it might even become interesting for them, simply because it has a nice format. Structure your articles on parts and use alignments. You can put subtitles or bold certain words.
The quantity of articles
Before making them public and start promoting them, the blog articles should be sufficient. If someone enters your blog, you should make him return. Or if he sees that you post two entries in one week, be sure that he will forget about you. Too many make the mistake that in the first month write three articles a day and after that they remember to write on their own blog only at every three days. Your usual visitor should be familiar with a constant number of articles coming from you. It is better to follow the next rule: instead of publishing three articles a day and in the next day nothing, you better save as “draft” one of them and publish it the next day.

The number of the front page articles
They should not exceed 10, but they must not be less than 5. Some people want to see what things do you present in footer and making them scroll for 10 minutes will make them angry. Do you show only one item per page? Well, do you have a website or a blog?

Categories
Articles can be grouped into categories. But when you have 40 categories who will loof for you? You must make categories about groups of topics. The category “League 1″ you can place in “Football” and when you will write about a Champions League match you will not have to create a new category. You can create original categories in which to place your own types of articles.
Buttons on the blog
Remove buttons on the blog with “Send this article by YM” or buttons from Digg, Reddit and etc.. No one will click to promote your article on those sites. Like the “bookmark this” on Google, Yahoo and etc.. Sometimes the option to display those buttons is part of the subject, and at that time you should look a bit at the code.
“Posted by”
If there is not a collective blog, and you’re the only one that writes on your blog, why I might be interested in the information “posted by admin”? That article is definitely not written by aliens.
Comments
The option to post comments should be as easy to use. Blogger has problems in this regard (that is, maybe it will change something), and when talking about WordPress, do not insert all kinds of designs that are supposed to be letters or numbers and must be entered by the reader to post a comment. Also see where the you place the button “Allow comments” or “5 comments”. Sometimes I want to write a comment and simply I can’t realize what I have to press. So I move forward. And remember for later: when you get to 500 comments, do not brag if more than 50 are written by yourself.

Tags
They are keywords through which you can define the article. Write about a movie, and put the tag: movies. Think of tags as smaller categories. Do not put in your articles link tags. If however you use them, make sure they are not numerous and the visitors cannot be misled.
Important things about the articles written for a blog
Contact page
On every blog there should be such a page. The reader wants to know who wrote on that blog. If you have such page, make sure not to tell your readers about your whole life (that’s why you have the blog, to write posts), nor to put pictures with you from your childhood until now. Did you leave an e-mail address? Some may want to write something private.
Quick load
When you put a picture or insert a video on the blog, make sure it is hosted on trusted sites. If the site fails, from the photo / video and below your blog will not load also. If you upload a photo to your blog, make sure it is not too big. If the blog loads in more than five seconds, you get angry and forget why you ever went there. The scripts (those small banners) of the sites which counter the traffic must be put in the footer or as lower as you can at the end of the blog page. The same story as when a site fails.
Public statistics
If you have a blog at its beginning, do not publish statistics and various numbers of traffic to your blog. Who would be interested that you have 300 visitors per month? In relation to displaying the number of your feed readers it is the same story. If you do not have a decent number of readers, don’t display that information. If the visitor sees that only three people read your blog, this will make him go away from your blog or from subscribing to it.
Link exchange (blogroll)
The blogroll is a list of your blog with blogs that you like or that you follow. If you do link exchange with another blog there is nothing wrong, but if you have more than 20 links there, the visitor will become bored and that area becomes uninteresting. The blogroll should be something exclusive by which to transmit the visitor: “look, I recommend these blogs”. Bonus: the link exchange does not matter anymore for Page Rank.
Phone / messenger ID
Do not post the messenger ID or telephone number on the blog. All the hunters of messenger IDs will add you to the list, enter a discussion with you and will send you fake messages like “You have won 1000 Euro from the X contest”.11
