Actress Jennifer Connelly is going to be a mom. The actress and her husband, Paul Bettany, are expecting their second child together.
The news was confirmed by Jennifer Connelly’s rep, Just Jared reported. The 40 years old star is going to be a mom for the third time. However, the news was first reported by Us magazine. And in fact, as she previously said in an interview, Jennifer Connelly loves being a mom, the star claiming that her children have completely changed her life. “Becoming a mother has made all the difference in terms of learning to take responsibility for myself and my life,” she said according to Contactmusic.com. She also explained that she is not a strict mom and she actually is not bothered when her children curse. Still she claims that she remains very strict when it comes to manners and she has explained to her children that rudeness is not accepted. However, the 40 years old Oscar winning actress and her 39 years old British actor husband are very happy to welcome another child into the family.
Jennifer Connelly and Paul Bettany married on January 1 2003 in a beautiful ceremony held in Scotland. The two met on the set of the 2001 movie, “A Beautiful Mind,” a role for which Jennifer won an Oscar in Best Supporting Actress category. The couple already has a seven years old son, Stellan, but Jennifer also has a child from a previous relationship with photographer David Dugan, her 13 years old son, Kai. The pregnancy news comes a few weeks after the happy couple was seen on the red carpet for the premiere of “The Tourist” in New York, this actually being Paul’s latest acting project, in which he worked with Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp. However, besides “A Beautiful Mind,” Jennifer Connelly and Paul Bettany also co-starred in “Creation,” a movie in which Bettany played Charles Darwin and Connolly had the role of his wife, Emma.11
