Katie Piper still recovering from acid attack
Several weeks ago Katie Piper was the victim of a attack with sulfuric acid. In March 2008, on the streets of London, the 26 years old ex model and future television presenter’s was very badly burned when a total stranger threw acid to her. She declared in an interview that that was the biggest pain she has ever experienced and that she was terrified seeing parts of her face that fell off and her clothes evaporating. The security cameras placed in that area recorded the incident and the police found out that Danny Lynch, who was at that time Piper’s boyfriend whom she started dating two weeks before the incident, hired a man to throw acid at Katie.
The acid destroyed the skin on her face, neck and hands, and when she arrived at the hospital doctors realized that she had lost an ear and a part of her nose adding to the fact that she could not see anymore with one of her eyes. 
She had a series of surgeries meant to reconstruct her face and then she had to get psychological assistance because she was shocked seeing her image in the mirror the first time after the assault.11
OMG!!! I feel so sorry for the poor girl! She looks really bad. Thankfully she has the money to pay for all the necessary surgeries and she can start looking normal again. Even so, too many surgeries at short periods of time can be devastating. This is why being a celebrity is over rated. That poor girl only made money thanks to her good looks and now that this happened, I wonder that she will start doing for a living. No matter how many plastic surgeries she is going to have in this lifetime, she will never get the looks she had before.
Now that’s a very stupid thing to do. What did her boyfriend imagine that he would never get caught. I hope she sues him for every cent he’s got. He deserves to rot in jail and so does that man he hired. These people are monsters. How can you do something like that to a human being?! I agree with what Heather said. No matter how many plastic surgeries she goes though, she will never have the same looks she had before. This is like a scene ripped out of a horror movie. The poor girls, I sure hope she will be ok after the tremendous shock she just experienced.

The person “bob” who posted “she is ugly” is far uglier than Katie Piper, because he is ugly on the inside. He is a heartless monster without conscience just like Katie’s attacker and as ugly the sexist woman hating culture that makes these attacks possible and justifies violence against women. Women are constantly objectified as sexual objects for men’s pleasure. Women are not treated as human beings deserving of equal rights and respect. Women are not safe. Women are very vulnerable. Women must fight for a safer world for their sisters and daughters and future. I personally feel if women started killing men who abused women, that would send a message… that mistreating women is just not acceptable or tolerable. Obviously looking to lawmakers, media and “civilization” and evolution to make men more sane and compassionate has failed to make safe women.
This girl is such an amazing and beautiful person who has been through a hell of a lot. To be able to face the world again after what shes been through deserves respect! I couldnt imagine the way she must be feeling if anyone was to harm my child or my sister brother loved one like that or even myself id find it so hard to forgive them. She is an inspiration too all and deserves to have happiness the guy who done that to her is nothing but a monster an evil soul who should rot in hell for what he done but unlike most of us who would react in anger and hatred katie is actually a step up from that and has managed to find herself and accept herself again and forgive she is amazing i love her attitude towards people and herself she is the reason good wins over bad she is the reason people dont give up and keep going! And bob just for the record your opinion is invalid here and unecessary so take ur negitive attitude elsewhere cause people like you dont deserve an opinion! Katie you rock girl!! X
