We already knew that Lady Gaga has numerous fans worldwide, but we probably didn’t imagine how many they really are. Now Gaga gets another proof of her popularity after the success she had on Facebook, being one of the most popular public figures on the socializing network. Lady Gaga has now the most followed tweeter page.With Lady Gaga there is no middle way. You either love her or you hate her. But it seems that most people love her since she was crowned the Queen of Twitter, managing to overpass Britney Spears, whose page was the most popular one, at least until now. With more than 5.7 million followers, Lady Gaga is now in her popularity glory.
But, beating Britney Spears wasn’t easy at all. Gaga had yesterday about 5,726,168 viewers while Britney had 5,696,275 followers. The difference is not very high as you can see, and a few days ago it was even lower, Britney having 5,646,028 Twitters, while Gaga 5,635,460. So, the conclusion is that Lady Gaga’s popularity is growing continuously and of course, the singer is very proud with her success.
Surly Gaga was very pleased with dethroning Britney Spears and as soon as she found out about her success on the socializing network, Gaga posted a video in which she thanked her fans for their support and for making all of this possible. “Hello world, this is Lady Gaga, queen of Twitter,” Gaga said. “I wanted to thank all my beautiful little monsters for following me. Thank you for beginning my reign as Twitter queen,” the singer added. And Gaga dressed up for the event. In the video she had a flourish of an illuminated scepter and a sprinkle of glitter to symbolize the royal event.
“May you always have soft cuticles while tweeting. May you never have carpal tunnel,” Gaga wanted to wish her fans. And the singer also mentioned that she will continue tweeting as a new responsibility she has in front of her fans. “I vow never to partake in celebrity online shenanigans,” “And I vow to always tweet and tweet again”, Lady Gaga said.
The singer is now on her Monster Ball Tour and she filmed the video in the stop in Tacoma, Washington. “Just remember that I love you,” Gaga concluded. “And love you yourself. Because little monsters, you were born that way, baby. I love you Twitter. See you at the Monster Ball.”
Well, probably Gaga deserved her new success. We have to admit that she did try in many ways to come every time, at every appearance, with something new, even if it was a bursting into flames piano or an almost naked outfit. Some of her choices are not the best ones, but Gaga is definitely very original and probably herself. Maybe these are the things that fans all over the world appreciate at the 24 years old singer, along with her courage and extravaganza, and this is why she is so popular today.
