Lindsay Lohan Decides For Rehab

Lindsay Lohan
According to a CNN source, Lindsay Lohan has opted for rehab, by her own will. The 24 years old actress has actually made the decision to enter a substance abuse rehab program, without being forced to do so.
Lindsay Lohan is determined to check herself into rehab and the actress took this decision after she was sentenced again to jail because she failed to pass two drugs tests. However, the actress was lucky to have been bailed out after another judge allowed her to pay bail on Friday evening. Still, Lohan hasn’t decided yet which program she is going to follow, the source added.
The actress has already been in jail and in rehab this summer. She was ordered to spend 23 days in rehab after she was held 13 days in jail. Lohan was sent to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, but she was released earlier than the initial sentence, as it also happened when it comes to her jail sentence, specialists from UCLA saying that the young actress hasn’t got a problem with drugs abuse. However, this doesn’t seem to be the opinion that Lohan shares now. “Substance abuse is a disease, which unfortunately doesn’t go away over night,” she wrote a few days ago on her Twitter page. “I am working hard to overcome it and am taking positive steps,” Lindsay added.
And now not only Lindsay Lohan acknowledges that she has a problem, her family also seems to believe so. Lindsay’s father told CNN that he hopes the defense lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, “does the right thing and advises her to go right into rehab now, and show the judge she’s serious, because in 30 days when she goes back before the judge he can do whatever he wants.” Michael Lohan always had a troubled relationship with his daughter and all its details have been debated in public. However, he is now supportive with Lindsay in overcoming her drug problems.
Well, Lindsay Lohan is free after paying $300,000 bail, but only until her next hearing when the 24 years old actress will have to be present in front of a judge. Her next hearing will be in four weeks, on October 22 and until than Lohan has to wear a SCRAM alcohol-detection bracelet. This is the second time this year when the actress is arrested, spends time in jail and has to wear an alcohol-detection bracelet.
Of course, her troubles when it comes to her personal life have affected Lindsay’s career and public image. She started acting at the age of 10 and changed her public image from a sweet and talented child actor into a troubled young lady with a wild parting lifestyle. But, how was her career affected by her inability to get back on the right track? And how can she overcome her own issues?

Well, if Lohan and her family seem to believe that rehab will solve the star’s problems, according to the actress’s fans, the best choice for Lohan would be to reach out to Oprah. MTV news presented a serial of interviews with Lindsay Lohan’s fans. “[She could make a comeback] if she actually would just learn from something and … take something seriously, and not act like,” a fan told MTV adding that there are many other celebrities that “have gone to jail and they come out and they’re just fine, but she just keeps making the same mistakes again.”
Well, other fans stopped defending Lohan saying that “she should be judged because everybody mess up, people do wrong things, people say they civilized but people also do bad things,” and some seem to think that the bad publicly is not that bad after all because Lohan is now everywhere and news about her are written each day. And some fans actually gave the actress an advice: “Just try to reach out to Oprah and let her solve everything,” a fan told MTV. “That’s what I would do.”
But, what would you do? How do you think Lindsay Lohan can gain back her life and career? Which is the best choice for her? Rehab, jail, asking for help? And mostly, does Lindsay actually wants to be helped? Is is true that she is aware of her problem or it is all publicity?11
