‘Love & Other Drugs’ Coming Soon

Hathway and Gyllenhaal were very comfortable with their sex scenes
Fresh news on Jake Gyllenhaal! Not, not because he was spotted strolling hand in hand with Taylor Swift, but because his next movie is coming soon.
“Love & Other Drugs” is his Gyllenhaal’s next project and the movie seems to be the raciest romantic comedy in a long time. The movie is R-rated and it follows Jake Gyllenhaal, a Viagra salesman, and the beautiful Anne Hathaway, a woman who suffers from Parkinson’s disease and who also becomes his love interest. The movie is coming very soon, as its opening is due on the 24th of November.
What comes to your mind when you’re thinking about Viagra? That’s right, SEX. Well, the movie has plenty of that and Jake’s character engages in a poolside orgy, but he also suffers an extended erection due to the drugs he is taking. Plus, there are many hot sexy scenes that include Hathaway, too! What to expect? Well, Gyllenhaal said in a recent interview that the love scenes were “animalistic,” so there won’t be any sweet lovey-dovey sex.
The film was directed by Ed Zwick and it was based on a Jamie Reidy memoir, called ‘Hard Sell: The Evolution of a Viagra Salesman.’ “In my experience when a young couple gets together, they spend a lot of time naked and a lot of time having sex,” Zwick said. “I wanted to be as authentic about the sex as we were about the pharmaceutical industry.”
So, there are drugs and there’s a lot of sex involved. How did Hathaway and Gyllenhaal cope with the thought? Pretty good, it seems. Although Anne Hathaway was seen crying after filming her love scenes, Zwick said it wasn’t because of the nudity or because of the sex scenes. “Her crying had more to do with her emotionally playing the patient than it had to do with the sex–she was actually quite open and willing about that,” said Zwick. “We decided that sex, if it wasn’t gratuitous, if it was in the service of the story, then it would be acceptable.”
In what concerns Gyllenhaal, he is very fond of his looks and knows that he’s still got it! Thus, he’s not ashamed to show his too-hot-built-at-the-gym body. He’s sort of a hippie in that way, because he claims that everyone should be at ease with themselves, to feel comfortable in their own skin and sex isn’t supposed to be covered in sheets (because it looks strange and unrealistic). “Eventually you should be comfortable together and not be hiding your body,” said Gyllenhaal. Well, the man is right, what can we say?
Anyway, we’re totally eager to see what the movie is all about, because after the success Gyllenhaal had with “Brokeback Mountain,” where he co-starred the late Heath Ledger, everyone is expecting something big from his part. All you have to remember is that the movie is R-rated, so prepare to see a lot of skin, sex and drug abuse!
