Microsoft To Release Next Generation Of Windows

Windows 8
According to Mashable’s website, it appears that Microsoft announced that their new version of Windows will support the ARM-based devices.
Intel and AMD processors use the current version of the x86 architecture supported by Windows. People from Microsoft said that the new version of Windows will support the system on chip architecture and this includes the chip made by ARM. The President of the Windows Live Division declared that by the announcement made today, it can be seen the flexibility and the resiliency of Windows.
Also, he stated that they are committed to the world-class engineering and to a new era of technology for Windows and it shows the true power of software. The next generation of Windows (Windows 8, according to mashable) will support the ARM-based devices for Qualcomm, Texas Instruments and, of course, for NVIDIA. You should know that the new software is different from Windows Phone 7 OS (this software utilizes ARM architecture for mobile phones).
Apparently, this is not the first time we hear about it, because the first rumor that Microsoft wants to support ARM-based devices was leaked last month. This will allow the low-power devices, such as tablet computers, to use such an OS.
