Milan Confirm Ibrahimovic Talks
Ibrahimovic near future became more uncertain as AC Milan’s chief executive met on Wednesday FC Barcelona’s new president Sandro Rossell. Galliani met the Spaniards before and after the friendly meeting the two teams disputed on Camp Nou last night. Barca put Ibra on transfer list after the Swedish had a very difficult first season for the Catalans, this barely scoring 16 goals in 29 appearances. According to Galliani the negotiations on the striker will continue (on Thursday) as both sides look confident and very close to shake the hands. “I have an appointment with Barca’s president at midday,” Galliani added.
“It is very complex, very difficult and very costly. At present, Barca are willing to sell (or loan) the player, he is willing to come to Milan but we are talking about a mountain of money in the middle of a crisis. But I’m trying and that’s why I am here, I will not move, even if it means not going to Milan against Lecce on Sunday. I will do all that is in my ability to try to bring this great champion to Milan. It is very difficult.” Pep Guardiola revealed also these days that he and the striker barely talked two times in the last six months, thing which made the Swedish concern about his future in Catalunya. “I don’t know what the problem is,” Ibra said. “The directors have told me they don’t want to sell me but I don’t know what the coach thinks because he doesn’t speak to me. We’ve only spoken twice in the last six months. I’m happy here and I’m not a problem,” while his current coach added that: “If I have only spoken to him twice in the last six months, it is for a reasonThere’s always a reason for things. I’m super-communicative and talked to him for 45 minutes, it was not a tense conversation. I have an open door, if we do not speak, of course there’s a reason but now is not the time to talk about it. I insist. For the sake of the institution it is better not say anything.”

Barca draw against AC Milan last night, 1-1 final score, but succeeded on the shoot-out afterwards to end 3-1. Ibrahimovic, who was selected for the first XI, was substituted at the half time. The first scored came in the first half from newly transferred David Villa this easily touching a powerful shot coming from the left side. Finally, Inzaghi brought the equalizer for the Italians after he transformed Seedorf’s 50m long pass into a wonderful volley over Barca’s keeper.11
