Milwaukee SUV falls in hole in the middle of the road
The SUV of a Milwaukee motorist fell into a large hole in the middle of the road and was rescued by a man passing by who called the police.
Lance Treankler, the Wisconsin motorist that drove a Cadillac Escalade, declared that the road simply vanished from under the car and that after the landing on the bottom of the hole, his car was covered by water. 46 years old Mark Pawlik was walking near the Oakland and the North avenues from the east side of Milwaukee when he saw Lance Treankler’s car in the hole from the road and came to rescue him. Mark Pawlik declared that he first saw a traffic light in the sinkhole and only after that he saw the SUV driving straight to the hole.

The Cadillac Escalade disappeared and the traffic light landed right on the top of the car, and Pawlik spotted the driver unconscious on the hood of the car. He grabbed the hurt driver’s hand and he asked him to get him out of the car, as the rescuer declares. Fortunately Treankler was not badly hurt in the incident; he only suffered minor cuts and bruises. The accident occurred during a storm that brought heavy flooding to the city. Intervention crews are trying to get the SUV from the 20 foot sinkhole which caused the cutting off power in a 200 businesses and homes region.
