An escaped convict and his fiancée have dragged the authorities on a two weeks chase all across the country, from Arizona to Montana, near the Canadian border, where they were last seen.

Their way through the United States was very easy to find, because they robbed and allegedly killed two people while running from the police, but there is no indication regarding their whereabouts. They are the most wanted couple in America at this time and have been compared to a 21st century Bonnie and Clyde. The authorities are trying to find them and had to cross the entire country from Arizona to Arkansas searching for escaped inmate John McCluskey and his cousin who is also his fiancée Casslyn Welch. They searched the neighborhood around Gentry, Arkansas, after the owner of a beauty shop said that she was threatened with a gun and robbed by a couple on Wednesday morning. Their conclusion was that there was no reason to believe that the couple they were looking for was the one that robbed the Kut & Kurl salon. Benton County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Doug Gay declared that they have no idea where the two might be or where they were in the last month and a half since Welch helped McCluskey and two other men escape from a medium security prison in Arizona on the 30th of June. They are believed to be part of a white supremacist gang and the police think that they are extremely dangerous.

McCluskey was supposed to be in prison for 15 years, charged with attempted murder and other minor charges. United States Marshal Chief Deputy Fidencio Rivera declared that he believes that they have no intention of being taken alive and are likely rather to commit suicide than surrender, so he has to take into consideration issues related to the public safety and the safety of the aw enforcement personnel. The fugitives were last seen in Montana and they are believed to be running to Canada. The police think that they have killed a couple from New Mexico and expect that they would commit other murders if they feel forced to, based on their prior convictions. The other two men, Tracy Province and Daniel Renwick, which escaped the same time as McCluskey, have already been caught after being seen together with the couple in the area around Yellowstone Park. Tracy Province, who was convicted for murder, was arrested outside a church in Meeteetse, Wyoming, and Daniel Renwick, also convicted for murder was arrested in Rifle, Colorado, on the 1st of August.
