Musical Educational Toy
As parents or teachers, we are concerned about our children’s education all the time. This is why we tend to buy toys that will help them develop, learn and at the same time enjoy themselves. We begin with construction cubes or baby dolls, with little cars and than move on to jigsaw puzzles and then continue searching new toys that will help them develop their abilities and interests. In this way, you try to offer your child the possibility of learning by discovery and to grow curios and develop a brilliant mind.
The same idea had in mind the designers of the next toy I am going to present. Knowing that playing and music bring children together and that it also helps children learn – developing creativity and memory – they have designed the educational toy called ‘Original Soundtrack‘. The toy is no more no less than a little train that ‘plays’ the rail. The idea is that the rail is made of ten pieces of wood of different shapes that can be put together in a variety of ways. On their surface they have little bumps displayed in different forms. When the train rails over them, it will read those bumps and then play a tune. According to the way the rail is put together, the tune will change. There are more songs available and each set of songs is chosen by its color. However, parts of the same colors of the rail, but from different songs, can be put together.
This design by Ricardo Seola is simple, however innovative and musical, which will make your children want to play it over and over again. Because you can assemble the rail in so many ways, the project will develop your kid’s creativity and sense for good music. The exact purpose we have in mind when we let our children play with smart toys.11
