A new Michael Jackson album is set to be released on December 14
Although Michael Jackson died last year, the famous singer and his music can still attract fans, but also controversy, if we think about the trial and the fact that, still, the conditions is which the “King of Pop” died haven’t been clarified.
Well, it has recently been announced that a new Michael Jackson album will be released, and the material, which is set to be simply named “Michael,” will be out on December 14 according to his Sony Music label, the Rolling Stone magazine reported. Rumors about this album have been out for months now, but it seems that this time an album is finally going to be released. One of the tacks included on this album was recorded in New Jersey in 2007. It was reported that the song was recorded with other tracks by Jackson in 2007 with producer Eddie Cascio.
Well, these songs are not out without controversy either. According to a TMZ report earlier this year, Jackson’s three young children dispute the fact that the songs are their father’s. Of course, things can get even more complicated as it was said that Katherine Jackson, the famous singer’s mother, claims that it is not Michael singing on the tracks and she was the one to influence Michael’s young children. But, sound experts have proved that the music is Michael’s and probably this is why the single is now on the newest Michael Jackson album.
Anyway, for “Michael” a trailer will be released on Friday on the singer’s official website, announcing and mostly promoting the new album. Well, probably more details regarding the album will be released in the following days. Until now, rumors indicated that Michael has been working and recording new songs since 2001, after the release of his last album. Anyway, it was also mentioned that some projects with Will.i.am, Lenny Kravitz and Akon can be included on this very much expected album because at the time of his death, Michael was working at different collaboration with other hitmakers. And, after the singer’s death, it has been rumored that there are many unreleased songs and materials Michael left behind, and credible sources have confirmed the hypothesis for different publications. If that is true, Michael will continue living after death, and not only with his most famous singles released so far, but with brand new materials. However, this is the first release of this kind and since there has always been a mystery involving Michael Jackson, mystery now maintained by the unknown conditions of his death, the secret on the singer’s new album will make things even more interesting for fans.

Michael Jackson died last year, being aged 50. Michael’s first new song released after his death was “This Is It,” song that became extremely popular with the movie about the artist preparing for his London concerts. Michael Jackson was one of the best selling artists last year and his fans managed to create after all Michael’s comeback, with an incredible success. Jackson-themed Cirque du Soleil tour will open in Montreal next October according to Reuters and a dance videogame, Michael Jackson inspired, will be in stores this month, so there is no wonder that Michael Jackson is a top earning celebrity today.
