Peter Jackson Underwent Surgery

Peter Jackson is currently recovering after undergoing surgery for his ulcer.
The popular movie director is recovering after the medical intervention at Wellington hospital. It has earlier been reported that Peter Jackson had to undergo emergency surgery to repair a perforated ulcer, but he is now doing well and he is expected to make a full recovery in the following days. A rep for Jackson confirmed the reports saying he was admitted to hospital and added it all started on Wednesday night, when Peter Jackson had to be transported to the emergency room due a severe stomach pain, Uk.eonline.com reported. “Sir Peter is currently resting comfortably and his doctors expect him to make a full recovery,” the statement said. The Oscar-winning filmmaker is however doing fine now.

Anyway, as imagined, the production for “The Hobbit,” a prequel to The Lord of the Rings trilogy, had to be delayed in the absence of the popular movie director. But, shooting for this project are expected to start in New Zealand next month and so Peter Jackson’s surgery and his condition are not expected to affect much the movie production. Still, this is not the first time when “The Hobbit” experiences problems of his kind, as the previous director left the production, a movie which had various financial issues to deal with until now. However, maybe the project will end successfully, despite all these issues.11
