Rachel Weisz Separates From Her Husband

Rachel Weisz and her husband, Darren Aronofsky, are now separated
Actress Rachel Weisz and her director husband, Darren Aronofsky, are not a couple any longer. The split was confirmed by Aronofsky’s rep according to E! News.
Rachel Weisz and Darren Aronofsky have been together for nine years now and the couple has a 4 year old son, Henry. The two first met in 2001 and got engaged in 2005. However, the actress and the movie director never made the big step, although in an earlier interview, Rachel said that she and Darren are committed “until death do us part” even if they weren’t married. It seems that the two plan on sharing the custody of their child, who will continue living in New York.
But, why the couple separated, although they have been together in the past 9 years and have a child? Well, when there are celebrities and breakups there usually are cheating rumors and this was also the case for Rachel Weisz and Darren Aronofsky. It was rumored that Rachel had an affair with her costar from the movie “Dream House,” actor Daniel Craig. Of course, neither of the two actors confirmed the reports and rumors, and in fact Craig is also engaged. “Rachel and Daniel simply sparked during the filming of Dream House in Canada. They have great chemistry,” a source said according to Aceshowbiz.com and added that Daniel is the opposite of Darren, he is “brooding and mysterious.” The source also mentioned that Rachel and Darren just grew apart from each other.
Well, regarding the real reason of the split, no comments were made and the spokesman for Darren Aronofsky only announced that the couple has been apart for months now, but they remain committed to their son, as both parents agreed to continue raising him in New York. When being asked about the separation and the cheating rumors, Weisz refused to make any comments.
Rachel Weisz and Darren Aronofsky worked together at “The Fountain” and it was also rumored that they were planning on releasing a production about Jackie Kennedy, but according to Msnbc.com the project is no longer listed on specialized sites.11
