Reese Witherspoon is a married woman now. The star wed her fiancé Jim Toth on Saturday evening, March 26.
According to Aceshowbiz.com, Reese and Jim opted for a private ceremony, held at the 35 years old actress’s estate in Ojai, California. And it seems that the wedding ceremony was officiated by Reverend Jimmy Bartz, while the couple opted for some wedding rings designed by jeweler William Goldberg. And, as imagined there were some celebrity guests in the attendance, the guests list including actress Renee Zellweger, Alyssa Milano, Salma Hayek and Robert Downey Jr., and also Sean Penn and Scarlett Johansson. The star’s two children, Ava and Deacon, also attended the wedding ceremony. Reports indicated that the guest list included about 120 people, close friends and family, so it looks like the couple did not want a very big event, but still Reese apologized to her neighbors for the traffic and the whole situation created with the wedding being planed at her home.
When it comes to the wedding dress, it seems that the actress opted for a Monique Lhuillier gown, as Us magazine reported. However, it looks like the wedding has already been confirmed by a rep for the actress. The ceremony lasted about 20 minutes, reports indicated. Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth began dating in January 2010. The couple got engaged only a few months before deciding to wed, as the two announced their engagement in December, last year. However, this is not the first time when the famous actress decides to tie the knot. Reese Witherspoon has previously been married to actor Ryan Phillippe, who reports claimed was not in the attendance for the event. The two have been a married couple for seven years and they have two children together, Ava, aged 11, and Deacon, who is 7 years old. The actors divorced in 2008. Anyway, this is the first marriage for Jim Toth. Toth is an agent for Creative Artists Agency, the company representing Reese.
Reese Witherspoon is also currently promoting her latest movie, “Water For Elephants,” in which she stars alongside Twilight star Robert Pattinson. Before beginning her relationship with Jim Toth, Reese was romantically involved with actor Jake Gyllenhaal, who wasn’t there for the wedding ceremony, but was actually spotted bowling with some friends at the time of the event.11
