Snooki Retained In Italy

Snooki got involved into a car crash in Italy

Snooki has managed once again to get involved into some troubles. The star was taken into custody by the cops on Monday.
Snooki, who is currently starring in reality show “Jersey Shore” on MTV, was filming in Italy with the cast of the series. The stars are continuing to work on the show in Florence, Italy. But, it looks like they have already managed to get involved into some new troubles, or at least one “Jersey Shore” cast member did. So, reports claim that Snooki, whose real name is Nicole Polizzi, was taken into custody by the cops after a car crash. The incident took place on May 30.

So, Snooki was taken into police custody immediately after the incident and retained by Italian authorities, although she was not arrested. And in fact, Snooki actually ran into a cop car. The incident is still under investigations, but it seems that there was no alcohol involved, so Snooki wasn’t drunk at the time of the events. On the other hand, despite the accident, Snooki was not injured. The two police officers in the other car were taken to the emergency room, but they weren’t seriously injured.

Snooki is currently working at the fourth season of “Jersey Shore.” However, Snooki wasn’t the only cast member involved in this incident, as she was accompanied during the events by a colleague, Deena Nicole Cortese, who was on the right seat, an official statement said on Monday. Still, no other details were revealed at this point. And the show wasn’t canceled or delayed by the events that recently took place, as “Jersey Shore” is still filming. Snooki has already been questioned about the events and she may be charged, although that hasn’t happened yet. Anyway, this was by far the first time when Snooki got into some troubles with the law. She was arrested last year in June for disturbing the peace.11
