Solar Flares and Supermoons; The Dangers from the Sky

We have suffered a lot in these past few months because of the sky. Numerous solar flares took place and they caused lots of health problems, such as heart attacks, and headaches.

They caused lots of magnetic storms which created numerous health problems, especially for the elders. According to the astronomers and scientists, things will get worse in the future, as this is all part of the solar awakening. They predicted that the solar flares and the magnetic storms will become much more intense in the years to come. On top of that, they said that we should worry about the moon, as for the first time in 20 years; the moon will be the closest to Earth. Should the perigee, as the scientists call it, or the Supermoon, as it was called by the journalists, scare us? According to numerous online journals, blogs, and online journalists, yes, we should worry, and we should expect the worst. Some say that we should be ready to face the apocalypse, or apocalyptic scenarios. They said that the Supermoon will cause natural cataclysms, such as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and so on. Some said that the earthquake which hit Japan on the 11^th was caused by the Supermoon.

The Supermoon, will take place on the 19^th, and it will be the moment when the moon will be in its closes proximity to our planet. During that night, the moon will be at a distance of 356.6 thousand miles from Earth, and in space, that distance is extremely low. People on Earth are impatiently waiting for the 19^th, hoping, or praying that nothing bad will happen. They were scared by numerous astrologers who stated that this event will cause lots of havoc here on Earth. They said that numerous natural disasters will occur because of the Supermoon, and it seemed that the Japanese earthquake was a sign that the Moon has this power. Even at the distance it normally is, the Moon has an influence over our planet. It can create ocean tides, and it can even create land or continental tides. Even the scientists have stated that there are very chances, very small, but even so, for an earthquake to take place because of the close distance between the Moon and the Earth. Regarding the earthquake which took place on March 11^th, the researchers said that it was simply a coincidence.

Of course, since we are humans and since we are interested in these kinds of stories, we would have liked or hoped for the Moon to be responsible for the disaster which affected Japan. The researchers said that it is 100 percent certain that the Supermoon did not cause the natural disaster, because when the earthquake took place, the Moon was at its normal distance from Earth. On top of that, during that time, the Moon wasn’t even full, that being the sequence of the Moon which has the biggest impact on the events which take place here on Earth. The researchers said that numerous people blame the earthquake on the Moon, when they shouldn’t do it, as the Moon was too weak to have had an influence over the cataclysm. The scientists said that we should worry more about the Sun than we should about the Moon. The sun activity has been the highest in months, and it seems that it will increase in the following periods as well. The researchers also discovered certain unidentified objects which release protons, alpha particles and nuclei towards Earth, but they do not have an explanation for them. The solar flares are high concentrations of energy, and according to the researchers, when one takes place; the sun releases higher levels of radiation than usually.

The solar flares can not be easily predicted, but it is a known fact that they come in clusters. One of the solar flares took place on March 9^th, and the scientists have stated that we should expect to be hit by more of them in the weeks to come. People have been warned about them, and the researchers said that it is advisable for people to stay indoors during the days when the solar flares are released in the atmosphere.

As I said, the internet is full of theories about the effects of the Moon on our planet. There are numerous people who stated that the closer the Moon is to our planet, the higher the chances are for a natural calamity to take place. They said that each and every time the Moon got closer to our planet a very powerful natural disaster took place. In 2005, two weeks prior the Supermoon, the tsunami which affected Indonesia took place. In 1974, a cyclone hit Australia days before the Supermoon. However, the scientists said that these are simple coincidences, but even so, it seems that people prefer to think that they were caused by our natural satellite. This is the way in which we, the humans are. We have always been interested in these events, and this is the reason why the Apocalypse from the Bible is the most interesting chapter. The scientist said that we should not worry about out of the ordinary events during that day. We should not live with the fear that something awful will happen during that day, because there are very small chances for such a thing to happen. They said that we should wait and enjoy the show.
