Susan Boyle To Sing for the Pope
The performance that placed Susan Boyle amongst the stars of the good music was the song “I dreamed a dream,” an English translation of the renowned song “J’avais revé” from the novel Les Miserables of Alexandre Dumas, which she sang for the first time in April 2009.
Susan impressed the public with the beauty of her voice and the heartfelt interpretation. When asked by Piers Morgan which was her favorite artist, she said she would have loved to become like Elaine Paige. Well, I think that if Elaine Paige meets her now she will ask Susan for her autograph, because Mrs. Boyle’s dream come true has become one of the most interesting success stories in the last few years, which makes the beauty of such shows impossible to overlook.
She will perform three times at Bellahouston in Glasgow on September 16, and with the choir at the open-air Mass. Susan will sing “How Great Thou Art” and “I Dreamed a Dream”.
“I think 16th of September will stand out in my memory as something I’ve always wanted to do”11
