There is no day that you recall when you were not at least a little bit stressed. This is not by a long shot good news for your hair. It is important to know when to put a stop to all those worries, all that “problems” that you create in your head and to start viewing the good part in life.

According to a recently performed study the hair stores a long – term record of the stress you have been feeling. Moreover, just with some tests that will be done to your hair, you will be able to find out whether you are prone to suffer any imminent heart attack.

The stress that you release as well releases at its turn a hormone – cortisol that enters in the bloodstream when you are scared. From the blood it will get all the way to the hair follicles. While the hair grows, it will look the same way as you have been feeling and with what the bloodstream has fed it.

A professor at the University of Western Ontario, Gideon Koren, took for study, hair samples from a total number of 120 men and then measured the cortisol levels from the hair, 1.2 inches long from the root.

The results showed that the cortical level was higher in men that actually suffered in their lives a heart attack, than in men that suffered from other diseases.

This discovery will allow the medicine to become easier form this point of view and less painful.
